Right,
Another bad report. Outnet.com have also pissed me off this Xmas. I found an AMAZING Johnathon Saunders jersey dress for €69. Great! Thats about 80% off their usual prices. So you can imagine how mentally happy I was.
Until the dress arrived.
It was the worst fit ever. So I packaged it up and sent it back to them with DHL. My heart breaking as I resealed the box it arrived so neatly in.
Then I get an email from outnet, telling me that in order to keep the cost of the clothing down, they would be taking over a tenner off them. They were charging me to return the dress in other words. Oh and the best part? I had to pay for DHL to take the dress back as well. So with postage and packaging the dress cost me around €95. They must have gotten about €20 off me in charges.
I was pissed off, but there was nothing I could do. I wasn't about to keep the badly fitting dress. However I had just wasted €20 with nothing to show for it.
I don't know about you, but when I shop online I am not normally in the mood for hidden extras. I don't normally do it. (bar books for college) and I have never come across a weirder returns policy so carefully hidden amongst all the jargon. Not impressed. Yes outnet have amazing offers and money off but when you can only see a picture and are not used to the way a designer sizes their clothing then you are going to very pissed off with this system.
There is a very good chance it wont fit and you'll be €20 worse off.
