Etude House Pink Box October

Hello!

Here I am with another Etude House review concerning a new Pink Box that I received as part of their Pink Bird program. If you want to read and see my previous Pink Boxes click HERE.

In the title, I called this box the October box because I received it mid October but I realized that Etude House called it the September Box...but that's not very important :D

In this gorgeous, pink, and super girly box there were Etude's new compact foundation (Cream Filter), 3 lipsticks from their newly launched Dear My Enamel Lips Talk, and a facial stick from their collaboration with Disney-Dumbo!

Any Cushion - Cream Filter

So let's start with the foundation. Forget about Cushion Foundation, the new trend now is filter foundation! It's supposed to be an improvement of cushion foundations. Here the cushion is covered by a net or filter. The filter is meant to evenly disperse the product even more than with a traditional cushion foundation. It's also possible to have no cushion underneath, just the foundation. Here I'm not 100% sure if there is a cuhsion underneath, I guess there is one as it's called Any Cushion but I will try to open it when I finish it, just to see :p

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! I love the holographic case, it looks so fun! The case is also slimmer than most cushion foundations and it looks sturdy.

The Any Cushion Cream Filter is available in 5 shades (that's a lot for Korean foundations):
      #9 Vanilla (Pink Base)
      # 21 Petal (Pink Base)
      # 21 Beige (Yellow Base)
      # 22 Sand (Neutral Base)
      # 23 Tan (Neutral Base)

I got Petal, which is the lightest with pink undertones. The color matches my skin so it's perfect :D

This cushion provides light coverage, is moisturizing and gives a very natural and healthy glow to the skin. In a sense, it reminds me of the Dior Cushion I showed you last week (HERE) except it has slightly more coverage but coverage is still low. So that's a cushion that is best suited for people with normal to dry skin that want a luminous and dewy finish and prefer low coverage foundation.

Overall, that's a foundation that I like when I want something very luminous and natural and don't want too much makeup. I didn't notice that in terms of application and evenness the filter changed much compared to traditional cushions.

Dear My Enamel Lips-Talk

Etude House is reformulating all their lipsticks and they have just launched the new version of the famous Dear My Enamel Lips-Talk lippies. These lipsticks are moisturizing and the colors are very bright and cheerful. Despite being creamy and glossy they are very pigmented and last well on the lips.

I have to mention that they feel sturdy and not cheap at all. The packaging is rather cute with this light shimmery pink color. I like it!

The color range is quite large with 20 colors (see them all HERE). I received 3 colors: a red (RD306 I'm strong Berry), an orange (OR205 Dry Orange Tea), and a beige (BE101 Dreaming China).

And here are the swatches!

They slightly stain the lips.

In summary, the Dear My Enamel Lips-Talk are creamy and glossy lipsticks with bright and vivid colors. I was impressed by their color pay off! I also didn't expect to love OR305 and BE101 as much as I do - I've been wearing these 2 almost non-stop. OR305 looks almost like a grapefruit color on me and I really really like it! BE101 is a super pretty everyday lipstick, super easy to wear and just gorgeous. And yeah you know I love my reds, so it's not surprise that I also love RD306.
I was also impressed by their lasting power. The 3 of them wore 4-6h on me, which is pretty impressive for creamy lipsticks!! So yeah, I highly recommend the Dear My Enamel Lips-Talk lipsticks and will certainly get other colors!!

Moistfull Collagen - Facial Stick

I've already shown some of the Moistfull Collagen x Dumbo collaboration items on the blog HERE (review of the Cream and Sheet Mask) and today I have a review of the Facial Stick.

The Etude x Dumbo collaboration includes:
    Moistfull Collagen Mask Sheet
    Moistfull Collagen Facial Stick
    Moistfull Collagen Essence
Moistfull Collagen Cream in jumbo format

In this Pink Box I received the Facial Stick. I'm not going to do a full ingredient analysis of this stick because it contains the main beneficial ingredients (collagen for moisture and baobab fruit extract and seed oil to take your share of vitamin C and antioxidants)  than the cream I reviewed here except it's formulated in a stick. So if you want to know more about these 2 ingredients see my previous post. And here for CosDNA analysis.

This facial stick has a balm texture. Upon application, it immediately gives a mositure boost (I checked it with my skin analyzer - I should show you this little device by the way, even though it's more a gadget it gives interesting info). I don't have the impression it leaves a heavy film on the skin like some balms do. It's still rather lightweight. The format is super handy. You can easily carry it in your bag and swipe it across your skin when you feel it's getting dry. I like using it on my cheeks in the middle of the afternoon and it also works great for the under eye area! So yep, that's another great product that is just perfect for winter when the weather is cold!
