X Factor step aside – Justin Bieber's support band MiC Lowry drop huge new single

MiC Lowry are an R&B quintet and they're back with a slick new single, Don't Tempt Me.

Their latest release is lifted from their forthcoming second EP, titled MOOD.

The band – made up of Kaine Ofoeme, Akia Jones, Delleile Ankrah, Michael Welch and Ben Sharples – are fast gaining recognition from big names in the world of showbiz.

, and footie pro Wayne Rooney has publicly declared his support for the lads on Twitter.

That's not all, as their new material comes off the back of them supporting Justin Bieber on the European leg of his Purpose tour.

Mic Lowry's new EP is made up of six tracks, and was co-written by the band, recorded in London, Liverpool and Los Angeles.

The lads also had the luck of working with the likes of MNEK, Shift Key and Harmony Samuels – so expect big tunes ahead.

Speaking about their new EP, Kaine said: "Working with amazing producers pushed us to take risks and try out new sounds."

While Akia added: "It's the first time we've all been so heavily involved in the songwriting process. It meant more to us because it was personal.

"Our personalities and the different sides of us are in these songs."

Ben also chimed in: "On every song on this EP we've tried our best to be real. MOOD is us as we are now, a bunch of Liverpool lads trying to work out where we fit into the world and having as much fun as we can while we're at it.

"The fact we've got this far is amazing. Where we go from here we can't wait to find out."
