WHATS ON: Sisters of Street (Nottingham)

I couldn't resist going into Cobden Chambers today.

I'm always up for street art and an all female street art party makes a perfect Saturday! So myself and Joe called in for a bit to see what was happening.

Cobden Chambers is just off Victoria Street in Nottingham. Its become an art hub of print, magazine shops, fashion finds and creative minds. I think its a nice quiet haven away from the busy nightmare that the main streets of Nottingham can be.
So back to today! Sisters of Street is taking place at Cobden Chambers until six so there is a still a bit of time to catch the action.  We managed to get a chance to look around at about 12ish after the insane rain stopped.

There are stalls with really beautiful rainbow and gluten free cakes too so you can stop, eat and admire the beautiful live painting.

This is of course in collaboration with Surface Gallery who launched the Nottingham Street Art Festival last night in Surface Gallery. I've photos coming from that later on! I really enjoyed it.

The event is also being held by the wonderful URSA Minor Apparel who are based in Cobden. Sadly, URSA are closing and due to finish on the 31st of July. There are still some really gorgeous pieces to be had at really reasonable prices. I promise another post to come on that soon! TOO MANY POSTS ARGH! hahah I personally fell in love with a skirt that had a make up print all over it.

You can find URSA on insta here

I also got distracted by Headcase Headwear. Headcase Headwear are a company that specialize in making funky headpieces for special occasions. You can find them here. I got totally distracted by the barbie headpiece and unicorn headband!

As I said, the event is running until six so no excuse not to get involved!
