SS13 Beauty Trends!

 I really love being creative. Any excuse to break out the scissors and glue! I got asked to make a mood board to explain one of the make-up trends for SS13....aaaaaaand here it is! I've shared my mood boards on here before because I'm so proud of them! This took about two hours to make and I've really enjoyed it. I just sat back and watched a few episodes of random TV programs while cutting up old Vogues!

 The trend is Sci-chedelic which is a strong almost pop art use of color with a matte texture. It was seen at shows such as Gareth Pugh, Moschino and Haider Ackerman. It seems to gravitate towards fuchsia and all things pink but really it can be worn anyway! It has a strong 60s feel with hyper bright colors that allow the wearer complete creativity. Unlike crazy make-up - it has a subtle background! This works best on clean, glowing and healthy skin. There is usually color on one area - eyes or lips with a very nude balance. If the lip is bright neon pink then keep the eyes clear!

My face chart didnt photograph well sadly! I've also noticed that the pink liner is unbalanced looking in the picture but totally fine on the page! Argh!
